Trixie Gulliver Dog Transport Box
The Trixie Gulliver Dog Transport Box is a rigid hard-shell transport crate in grey measuring 52 x 51 x 72 cm, priced at AED 875. The hard shell construction provides firm structure that does not compress under pressure, making it suited for car travel, vet visits, and any situation where the dog needs a fixed enclosed space that will not collapse if stacked or leaned against. The dimensions suit medium to large breeds that can stand and turn comfortably within the 52 x 51 x 72 cm internal space.
To check fit, measure your dog's height at the shoulder and their length from nose to base of tail. The dog should be able to stand without their head touching the roof and turn around without pressing against the sides. A crate that is too large removes the sense of security that enclosed spaces provide, while one that is too small restricts movement and causes discomfort on longer journeys.
Trixie Car Seat Cover with Plates for Dogs
The Trixie Car Seat Cover with Plates for Dogs is a black protective cover measuring 164 x 161 cm at AED 799. It fits across the full rear seat of most cars and includes plates, which are rigid inserts that keep the cover's surface flat and stable when the dog moves around. This prevents the dog from sinking into the gap between the seat and backrest, which is a common issue with standard hammock-style covers that have no internal structure.
The cover protects car upholstery from hair, mud, scratches, and moisture while giving the dog a stable, non-slip surface to rest on during travel. At 164 x 161 cm it is sized for standard rear bench seats and covers from the base of the front seat backs to the rear door sills.
Canine Camper Sportable Tent Dog Crates: Three Sizes
The Canine Camper Sportable Tent Dog Crate is a collapsible, tent-frame crate available in three sizes, all currently discounted by 35% from their regular prices. The small crate measures 30 x 21.75 x 24 inches at AED 380.25, reduced from AED 585. The medium crate measures 36 x 25.5 x 28 inches at AED 477.75, reduced from AED 735. The large crate measures 42 x 26 x 32 inches at AED 614.25, reduced from AED 945.
The tent frame structure collapses flat for storage and transport, making it more practical for dog owners who need a portable crate for travel, outdoor trips, hotel stays, or visits to family and friends. Unlike wire crates, which have a fixed footprint and require tools or significant effort to disassemble, the Canine Camper folds and unfolds quickly without tools. The enclosed fabric walls provide a darker, more enclosed environment that many dogs find calming compared to open wire construction.
The small size suits breeds up to approximately 10 to 12kg including French Bulldog, Shih Tzu, and Pug. The medium size suits breeds between approximately 12 and 25kg including Cocker Spaniel, Border Collie, and Bulldog. The large size suits bigger breeds between approximately 25 and 40kg including Labrador, Golden Retriever, and Husky. Measure nose to tail and shoulder height before selecting a size, as the exact fit depends on individual dogs rather than breed alone.
Choosing Between a Rigid Transport Box and a Collapsible Tent Crate
The Trixie Gulliver rigid box is better suited for regular car use where the crate stays in the vehicle, vet visits requiring a fixed enclosed space, and any situation where the crate may be stacked or transported in a vehicle boot. The hard shell provides protection that a fabric frame cannot.
The Canine Camper tent crate is better suited for occasional use, travel away from home, outdoor events, and situations where storage space at home is limited. The 35% discount currently on all three sizes makes them the more cost-accessible option in the collection. Frequently Asked Questions
What dog travel products does Woofy stock in the UAE?
Woofy stocks five dog travel products: the Trixie Gulliver rigid transport box at 52 x 51 x 72 cm for AED 875, the Trixie Car Seat Cover with plates at 164 x 161 cm for AED 799, and the Canine Camper Sportable Tent Dog Crate in three sizes at AED 380.25, AED 477.75, and AED 614.25. All five are currently in stock with next-day delivery across the UAE.
What size Canine Camper crate should I choose?
Measure your dog from nose to base of tail and from floor to the top of their shoulder while standing. The crate should allow the dog to stand without touching the roof and turn around without pressing against the sides. The small 30 x 21.75 x 24 inch crate suits breeds up to around 10 to 12kg. The medium 36 x 25.5 x 28 inch suits breeds between 12 and 25kg. The large 42 x 26 x 32 inch suits breeds between 25 and 40kg. Individual dog size varies within each breed, so use measurements rather than breed name alone.
What does the Trixie Car Seat Cover with Plates do?
The rigid plates inside the cover keep the surface flat and level across the seat gap, preventing the dog from sinking between the seat cushion and the backrest. This gives a stable platform for the dog during travel and protects the full rear seat area, including the seat base, from hair, mud, moisture, and scratches. The cover measures 164 x 161 cm and fits standard rear bench seats.
